We are looking for a skilled Used Car Reconditioning Technician to join our team at our Wholesale & Buying Center team to perform necessary maintenance and repairs on trade-ins and purchased vehicles for our pre-owned inventory. - Inspect used cars to identify damages and maintenance needs.
- Test, diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Inform the Service Manager of any additional services or repairs needed, estimating the time needed to complete the work.
- Perform work on the repair order per dealership standards.
- 2 year of related experience performing vehicle inspections, routine maintenance and repairs.
- ASE certifications are a plus.
- Basic knowledge of vehicles paired with strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and thorough workmanship.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Hours are Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturdays as needed, working in an open-air shop with swamp coolers and heaters.
