Receptionist - PRN/Per Diem

Receptionist – PRN/Per Diem role at Via Linda Behavioral Hospital.

Job Description

Via Linda Behavioral Hospital is an innovative behavioral health hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services to the people of Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix, Arizona metro area. Our 120‑bed facility will provide specialized mental health services and substance use treatment for teens, adults and older adults experiencing depression, anxiety, personality disorders and co‑occurring addictions.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist all visitors.
  • Answer the phone, document incoming deliveries.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Provide clerical support as requested.
  • Prepare weekday deposits and monthly statements for mailing.
  • Assist with various clerical duties and projects.
  • Assist with completing appropriate paperwork for new admissions during after‑hours shifts if assigned and serve as backup as needed.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED (minimum education).
  • AA, business or related field (preferred education).
  • Two (2) years’ experience on a multi‑line telephone switchboard (minimum).
  • Two (2) years of reception and clerical experience in a health‑care environment (preferred).
  • Knowledge of HIPAA.
