Position SummaryThe Catering Administrative Assistant works closely with the Sales Department, Chef, and Catering Manager to create an open flow of communication and to prepare, review, and execute catering orders for our luxury suites and private party decks. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable, event‑driven schedule that includes evenings and weekends. Open availability, professional presentation, interpersonal skills, self‑direction, and independent decision‑making skills are required.
In light of the seasonal and event‑driven nature of our business, the position will run from now until the end of March, with the possibility to return when the event season begins again next winter.
This role pays an hourly rate of $21.00–$22.00.
The position is seasonal, starting December 2, 2025, and ending March 31, 2026. The role will remain open until March 31, 2026.
Responsibilities- Enter catering orders into the POS system
- Create invoices and function sheets
- Assist customers in placing orders and collecting payments (by phone and e‑mail)
- Ensure that orders are communicated to both the kitchen and delivery staff quickly and effectively
- Work closely with the Sales Department, Chef, and Catering Manager to prepare and review orders for completeness
- Work as a team player with a passion for continuous learning
- Advanced proficiency with computers on a Windows platform, including Microsoft applications
- Ability to operate standard office equipment, including printer, copier, computer, and fax machine
- Consistent and reliable attention to detail, accuracy, and validity
- Strong written and oral communication skills – ability to speak and write clearly and concisely, get messages across that have the desired effect
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, changing environment; must work well under pressure of deadlines
- Ability to successfully interact and collaborate with all team members professionally and supportively
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
- Ability and willingness to work variable hours (i.e., evenings, weekends, holidays), as frequently required by event or business necessity
