Accounts Payable Specialist

Norconsulting is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Scottsdale, Arizona
. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts payable activities while supporting the overall accounting function. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, excellent attention to detail, and experience handling invoice processing, reconciliations, and payment transactions.

• Process and review vendor invoices ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and coding.
• Manage and review employee expense reports in accordance with company policies.
• Prepare and post journal entries within the accounting system.
• Perform invoice and account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Execute timely and accurate payment processing to vendors.
• Maintain organized financial records, documentation, and audit trails

• Support accounting operations through analytical review, data validation, and reporting
  .
• Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to ensure smooth accounts payable operations.

• Strong foundation in Accounting and Finance principles
  .
• Hands‑on experience with expense reports and journal entries
  .
• Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and problem‑solving skills
  .
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  .
• Proficiency in accounting software systems
  .
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
  .

• Experience with Sage 300 CRE (highly desirable).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (relevant experience may substitute for degree).
• Prior experience in Accounts Payable or similar financial/accounting role
