Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Tax Preparation: Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns under the mentorship of senior CPAs.
• Accounting & Bookkeeping: Perform monthly and quarterly accounting procedures, including bank reconciliations and adjusting journal entries for a variety of local industries.
• Tech Integration: Leverage cloud-based accounting software to streamline data entry and financial reporting for clients.
• Research: Conduct initial research on tax law changes (OBBB, Arizona state tax credits) to assist in client planning memos.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA Status: Actively pursuing CPA licensure (sitting for exams).
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in public accounting or a high-volume corporate accounting role.
