The ideal candidate will have experience in financial reporting, strong aptitude for technical research, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial information to external stakeholders.### ###
** Responsibilities:*** ### Manage periodic journal entries and reconciliations for assigned accounts (e.g., leases, debt accounting, prepaids, etc.)* ### Blackline administration encompassing user setup/access, month-end and year-end close tasks, journal entries, and reconciliation assignments.* ### Perform intercompany transaction reconcilement and coordinate company eliminations for financial consolidation.* ### Support compliance with regulatory requirements and play an active role in the implementation of new accounting standards and initiatives.
* ### Prepare and coordinate supporting schedules, footnotes, and documentation for external financial audits and reviews.* ### Support GL chart of accounts maintenance and associated financial statement mapping.* ### Aid the accounting team in day-to-day activities, special projects, and workflow process improvements.* ### Support tie-out of the financial systems (e.g. Adaptive to EPICOR).* ### Aid the accounting team in day-to-day activities, special projects, and workflow process improvements.
* ### Assist junior staff members, fostering their professional development* ### Other responsibilities as assigned.### ###
** Requirements:*** ### Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred but not required.* ### 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on general accounting and external reporting.* ### Working knowledge of
** Blackline
* * tasks, reconciliations, and/or journals and Blackline administration* ### Working knowledge of GAAP with an insatiable appetite for technical research.* ### Familiarity in financial reporting systems and software (e.g., EPICOR, Adaptive, etc.).* ### Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.* ### Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information.* ### Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
