Sr. General Ledger Accountant

Overview

Location: Onsite with limited hybrid flexibility

A privately held organization is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager / Senior General Ledger Accountant to support multiple operating and investment entities. This role is ideal for a strong general ledger professional who enjoys improving processes, partnering with leadership, and working in a multi-entity environment.

• Lead month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Partner with the Controller on accounting policies and process improvements
• Review work and provide guidance to accounting staff
• Support AP, AR, fixed assets, cash management, and intercompany accounting
• Assist with budgeting, audits, tax support, and special projects

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 3–5+ years of general ledger accounting experience
• Strong understanding of month-end close and accounting controls
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel
• Detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative

• Onsite initially (first 90–120 days)

• High-visibility role with close interaction with accounting leadership
