Senior Billing Analyst

Location: Scottsdale, AZ 85255 (100% Onsite)

Compensation: Open – aligned with current market rates

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm or 9:00am–5:00pm

Duration: Contract - potential contract-to-hire

We are partnering with a client in Scottsdale to identify a Senior Billing Analyst to join their billing and revenue accounting team. This role will support complex billing issues, process improvement, and analytical functions while providing superior customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. The position is designed to bridge the gap between Billing Specialist and Manager and requires someone highly systems-savvy, analytical, and detail-oriented who can contribute immediately.

• Manage and resolve complex billing issues, including clean-up, research, and revenue accounting support.
• Provide timely and accurate billing while ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
• Prepare and maintain billing reports, ad hoc reporting, and reconciliations.
• Post cash receipts and reconcile bank accounts daily.
• Assist with special billing arrangements and issue credits as needed.
• Maintain accuracy of customer data (billing address, payment remittance, and contact information).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy and efficiency.
• Deliver superior customer service when responding to client inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and contract terms.

• 5+ years of billing or revenue accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or related field (open to other degrees with relevant experience).
• Strong analytical skills – more advanced than a specialist role.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
• System savvy – proficiency in Net Suite, Salesforce, Versa Pay, and Microsoft Office required.
• Ability to adapt quickly, hit the ground running, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
