The Senior Accountant ensures financial integrity by overseeing all accounting, reporting, and financial management functions. This role provides strategic insight and operational discipline to support growth, profitability, and compliance. The Senior Accountant establishes and maintains financial policies, systems, and controls that promote accuracy, transparency, and accountability across the company. This is an independent contractor position, hours may vary.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate all Client invoices with the various Launch offices
- Email all Client Invoices
- Receive all payments on invoices received by the offices
- Process lien releases if necessary
- Create Job Cost function as required for Client engagement as documented in the New Project Form
- Document receipt of payments against customer accounts
- Prepare and pay all consultants according to billable time, utilizing TSheets.
- Reporting Function - Provide A/R Aging to Managing Principal and Strategic Assistant every Friday by 3 PM
- Call on all accounts in excess of 30 days outstanding
- Verify that services/ products have been received from vendor
- Determine if invoice is billable to Clients
- Once invoice has been approved, pay invoice
- Assist the National Managing Principal in the preparation of monthly operating reports;
- Obtain budget to actual reports from all business segment leaders and maintain records.
- Input all New Project Forms to create new Clients and/or billing accounts (for existing engagements)
- Verify that Client has received W9 and Insurance information (Errors and Omissions/ General Liability) if required
- Maintain organization and accounting files
- 1099s
- Send out 1099 to all consultants by January 30, XXXX
- Close Books/ K-ls to Partners
- Assist Accounting Firm to close the books on all three (3) entities.
- Distribute K-1to all partners

- Ability to engage in fiscal planning, reporting and budget development
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree in Business Administration or similar field preferred
- Experience working with Sage Intacct, Quick Books (and TSheets) strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operations metrics required
- Understanding of core accounting functions (A/R, A/P, Bank Reconciliation, Month-End Close, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite:
Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint preferred
Job Requirements

- Must have a valid driver s license
- Ability to operate a computer keyboard
- Ability to read a variety of materials
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to carry 5-10 lbs. (computer, etc.)
This is a 1099 position, pay rate will be commensurate with experience and qualifications, staring at $60./hour
