Responsibilities
The Staff Accountant manages financial accounting responsibilities for Via Linda Behavioral Hospital. The primary duties of this role include reporting, budget and fixed asset management, AP/AR and payroll oversight, and general support for the finance team. The Staff Accountant is a hands‑on, detail‑oriented accounting expert ready to impact a growing facility.

Via Linda Behavioral Hospital is an innovative behavioral health hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services to the people of Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix, Arizona metro area. Our 120‑bed facility will offer specialized mental health services and substance use treatment for teens, adults and older adults experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders and co‑occurring addictions.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as an Accountant, with specific experience handling accounts payable and payroll functions, preferably in a health care setting. Experience managing multiple functions highly preferred.
Additional Requirements: Working knowledge of KRONOS, ADP, payroll/accounts payable systems, Excel or any combination of education, training or experience in a business office environment. May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.
