Position Overview
Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a detail-oriented General Accounting Clerk for a full-time position in Scottsdale (100% in-office), Arizona. This role offers a flexible start time between 7:00 am and 8:00 am. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to float between the Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Sales/Inventory departments, providing essential support where needed.
Responsibilities- General accounting support, assisting in Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Sales/Inventory.
- Process accounts payable efficiently and accurately.
- Assist the payroll department with clerical functions such as filing and updating spreadsheets.
- Support the sales and inventory team by reviewing daily reports from field locations and entering information into Excel spreadsheets.
- Perform journal entries as needed.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless operations.
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or Payroll.
- Intermediate-level skills in Excel.
- High School diploma required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing data.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Required Work HoursThis full-time position requires 40 hours of work per week, with flexible start times between 7:00 am and 8:00 am (M-F).
BenefitsHourly pay ranging from $21 to $22.50.
