Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a detail-oriented General Accounting Clerk for a full-time position in Scottsdale (100% in-office), Arizona. This role offers a flexible start time between 7:00 am and 8:00 am. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to float between the Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Sales/Inventory departments, providing essential support where needed.

Responsibilities
  • General accounting support, assisting in Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Sales/Inventory.
  • Process accounts payable efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist the payroll department with clerical functions such as filing and updating spreadsheets.
  • Support the sales and inventory team by reviewing daily reports from field locations and entering information into Excel spreadsheets.
  • Perform journal entries as needed.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or Payroll.
  • Intermediate-level skills in Excel.
  • High School diploma required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing data.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
Location

Scottsdale, Arizona (North Scottsdale) 100% in-office

Required Work Hours

This full-time position requires 40 hours of work per week, with flexible start times between 7:00 am and 8:00 am (M-F).

Benefits

Hourly pay ranging from $21 to $22.50.
