Safety Lane Inspector

DMT currently runs over 250 trucks and almost 375 trailers from our five terminals in Birmingham, AL, Scottsboro, AL, Starke, FL, Camden, AL, and Broken Bow, OK. DMT Trucking provides safe and reliable transportation to customers across the eastern half of the United States, and is unique to any other PS Logistics owned company in that its fleet of over the road trailers is comprised of all 53-foot trailers.

We are looking for a full time Safety Lane Inspector. Must be organized, able to work well with others, must be able to give and receive instructions, general transportation safety/mechanical knowledge expected. must be willing to learn and grow within the company

• Inspect all company equipment coming in and out of the facility for DOT violations.
• Complete minor repairs such as tires, lights, etc.
• Willing to expand knowledge on CMV and trailers.

• minor mechanic experience
• safety experience
• basic technology

Education:

• High School or equivalent
