• Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) – Travel Nurse
• Location: Scottsbluff, NE 69361 (Western Nebraska)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: Varied; primary need for nights (5p-5a)
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Contract RN
• Unit: Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Med-Surg Mother/Baby
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2520 - $2650

• Active RN license (must meet Nebraska state requirements)
• Minimum 1 year recent clinical experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, or Mother/Baby care
• Current certifications: ACLS, NRP, and BLS
• Experience circulating and scrubbing for C-sections required
• NICU or pediatrics experience preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic L&D environment

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers, delivering mothers, and newborns across labor & delivery and postpartum units
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, recognize clinical changes, and report promptly to the interdisciplinary care team
• Circulate and scrub for C-sections as needed; assist surgical teams and maintain sterile technique
• Support newborn care and initial postpartum assessments; collaborate with NICU and pediatric staff when appropriate
• Educate and counsel patients and families on postpartum care, breastfeeding support, and newborn care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and follow hospital policies and safety protocols
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with obstetrics, anesthesia, and pediatric teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
