Position SummaryAs a District Manager with Taco John's under Paxton Keiser Enterprises, you will oversee the operations of 3–7 Taco John's locations within your district. You will drive operational excellence, develop and coach restaurant leaders, improve processes, and ensure safety and compliance across all units.
This role plays a critical part in delivering exceptional guest experiences, achieving strong financial performance, and building high-performing teams. The District Manager serves as the key link between restaurant leadership and senior management, ensuring brand standards and long-term growth objectives are met.

The District Manager (DM) is responsible for overseeing daily operations, financial performance, talent development, and brand execution across multiple quick-service restaurant locations. This leader ensures each restaurant meets brand standards, achieves operational excellence, and consistently delivers outstanding guest service.
Key Responsibilities- Directly oversee 3–7 restaurant locations within the district.
- Ensure strict compliance with brand, food safety, health, OSHA, and security standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to audit operations, coach managers, and evaluate performance.
- Drive consistency in operational procedures across all units.
- Monitor execution of LTOs, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
- Ensure proper repairs and maintenance are completed and documented.
- Own district-level P&L results, including sales growth, labor, COGS, controllable expenses, and profitability.
- Analyze financial reports to identify opportunities and correct underperformance.
- Drive year-over-year same-store sales growth and flow-thru objectives.
- Optimize labor scheduling and inventory management to maximize margins.
- Develop action plans to improve district EBITDA and operational KPIs.
- Recruit, hire, coach, and develop General Managers and Assistant Managers.
- Build a strong leadership bench and succession pipeline.
- Lead performance reviews, goal setting, and accountability standards.
- Participate in employee orientation and company training initiatives.
- Monitor staffing levels to anticipate seasonal sales fluctuations.
- Proactively address employee relations matters and conflict resolution.
- Foster a positive, high-performance culture focused on results and people-first leadership.
- Lead recognition and engagement efforts across the district.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive work environment for all team members and guests.
- Serve as a brand ambassador within the community.
- Implement company initiatives, operational improvements, and system rollouts.
- Support new store openings, remodels, and growth strategies.
- Partner with senior leadership to align district goals with company objectives.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
- 3–5+ years of progressive leadership experience in multi-unit QSR or fast casual restaurant operations.
- Proven ability to manage P&L statements and deliver measurable financial results.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Solid understanding of business math, accounting, and decision-making processes.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within assigned market.
