Sterile Processing Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our healthcare team. This role is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing medical instruments and equipment to ensure patient safety and support clinical operations.

• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment according to established protocols.
• Inspect instruments for functionality and safety before distribution.
• Assemble and package instrument trays for surgical and clinical procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and equipment usage.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies.
• Adhere to infection control standards and safety regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a sterile processing training program or relevant healthcare experience.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control, and medical terminology.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.

• Prior experience in a hospital or surgical setting.
• Familiarity with automated sterilization equipment and tracking systems.

• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or equivalent certification preferred.
