Environmental Coordinator – Leading Commodity Processing Company
The leading commodity processing company is looking for an experienced Environmental Coordinator to join our Food Manufacturing team. The successful candidate will ensure all manufacturing processes comply with relevant environmental regulations and standards, manage stormwater, UV disinfection, air quality monitoring, and spill prevention programs, and lead environmental audits and training initiatives.
Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 per year.

- Develop, implement, and maintain environmental management systems and programs in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and oversee activities related to stormwater management, UV disinfection, air quality monitoring, and spill prevention.
- Conduct regular environmental audits and inspections to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with different departments to develop and implement effective strategies for reducing environmental impact.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on environmental policies and best practices.
- Respond to environmental emergencies and incidents, coordinating effective response and clean‑up efforts.
- Prepare and submit reports on environmental performance to internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay up‑to‑date on emerging environmental trends, technologies, and regulatory changes that may impact the company's operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental management or coordination, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in stormwater management, UV disinfection, air quality monitoring, and spill prevention.
- Strong knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and standards.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address potential environmental risks and issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels of the organization.
- Certified Environmental Professional (CEP) or similar certification is a plus.
