Description
Tulane University Law School invites nominations and applications for the Eason-Wein m ann Chair in International and Co m parative Law. We seek an acade m ic leader with a record of distinguished scholarship, excellence in teaching, and the de m onstrated capacity to direct well-established progra m s in their respective fields. The appoint m ent will be m ade at the level of tenured, full professor.
ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of the chair holder include scholarly research and publication; classroom teaching; and participation in faculty governance. The chair holder is also expected to be actively engaged with faculty both within the Law School and throughout the University, providing leadership for integrative research activities and significant engagement with academic institutions and professional organizations in their respective fields. The chair holder is expected to provide leadership in terms of research, curriculum, and public engagement.

Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) and/or Ph.D. (or equivalent doctoral degree) in Law
- Broad recognition for scholarly distinction
- Established publication record
- Clearly developed long term research agenda
- Extensive teaching experience
- Demonstrated capacity for programmatic leadership
