The Assistant Director of Rooms is a full-time, on-site role based in Scotts Valley, CA. The role involves overseeing daily operations of the rooms department, including guest services, reservations, housekeeping, and laundry. Key responsibilities include ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining high service standards, managing budgets, optimizing the departmental workflow, and coordinating efforts to provide outstanding customer service. Additional tasks involve reporting to the Director of Rooms, supervising staff, and implementing strategies to drive operational efficiency.

• Proficiency in Guest Satisfaction and Customer Service to ensure an exceptional guest experience
• Experience in Reservations and understanding of processes related to managing bookings
• Knowledge of Laundry and Housekeeping operations to maintain cleanliness and efficiency
• Strong skills in Budgeting and financial planning to manage operational costs effectively
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to oversee and motivate the team
• Ability to work efficiently in an on-site setting at the Scotts Valley, CA location
• Previous experience in hospitality management or a similar role is highly desirable
• Relevant certifications or a degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field are a plus
