The following provides the compensation details for the California location and the Patient Care Tech - Full Time role, along with available shifts and benefits for full-time staff.

California

Patient Care Tech - Full Time

State - California: $24.00 per hour plus $3.00 Overnight differential

For full-time staff only. The Camp Recovery Center provides a comprehensive benefits package for full-time Patient Care Techs. Current benefits include:

This is a PRN Patient Care Tech position. Shifts are 8 hours and are overtime eligible.

• Demonstrate urgency regarding patient safety and provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure patient well-being and provide a positive, supportive, structured environment.
• Conduct safety checks and supervise as required (15-minute intervals or per individual guidelines).
• Document timely, accurate clinical information in the patient’s medical record.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for patients, families, and staff.
• Interact with patients, observe behaviors, and communicate significant observations to nursing staff.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed (toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, hydration, bed linens).
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, height, and weight as assigned.
• Facilitate educational and rehabilitative groups covering topics such as social skills, coping skills, anger management, and independent living skills.
• Engage patients in activities aligned with treatment goals.
• Complete and maintain required documentation; assist with follow-up and incident paperwork as needed.
• Provide or coordinate transportation for patients as required.
• Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude; address and resolve patient concerns; prioritize patient safety.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months or more experience with the facility’s population preferred.

• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available on hire).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
• RADT licensure
