Position: Patient Care Driver for Residential and Outpatient

Overview

We are hiring a compassionate full time Driver to drive our patients to appointments, meetings, etc. This is a key role whose primary goal is to provide a safe, supportive, nurturing environment for our clients at The Camp in Scotts Valley. The Camp Recovery Center is a 74-bed treatment center providing services to adults on both an inpatient and outpatient level.

Compensation for roles at The Camp Recovery Center varies depending on a wide array of factors including location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, The Camp Recovery Center provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California as set forth below.

Calculated Hourly Range For Role Patient Care Driver

State - California: $24.00 per hour plus $3.00 Overnight differential

Shifts and Hours

Full Time Monday - Friday - 8:30pm to 5:00pm. Shifts are 8 hours and overtime eligible.

Purpose

Provide efficient and safe transportation for patients to and from the facility.

Essential Functions
  • Pick up or transports visitors or staff as needed.
  • Transport patients for admissions and discharges.
  • May drive company facility vehicle to pick up supplies or equipment as needed.
  • Respond and adhere to on-call schedule as required.
  • Accurately and appropriately complete all transportation documentation.
  • Maintain vehicle log(s) and report maintenance issues to appropriate facility staff.
  • Ensure all company vehicles are kept clean.
Other Functions
  • Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
Education/Experience/Skill Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Licenses/Designations/Certifications
  • Valid State Driver’s License required.
  • First Aid, CPR, de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
