My Potential Pediatric Therapy is a family-centered pediatric therapy clinic committed to fostering independence, confidence, and meaningful life skills in children. Offering services in Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), we use a play-based, evidence-informed approach while respecting neurodiversity. By collaborating with families, schools, and community providers, we create personalized care plans that promote progress in real-life contexts.

Based in Scotch Plains, NJ, My Potential is dedicated to empowering children and families through holistic and collaborative practices, including our Bright Beginnings Program, which supports early developmental skills for children aged 2-6.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist located in Scotch Plains, NJ. The Speech Language Pathologist will provide evaluations, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy services to pediatric clients with varying communication and language needs. Responsibilities include collaborating with families, educators, and other professionals to provide comprehensive care, documenting progress, and ensuring evidence-based practices are followed.

The role emphasizes creativity, adaptability, and strong communication skills to support children in achieving developmental milestones and functional communication goals.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Speech Therapy and addressing various Communication Disorders
  • Experience in treating Language Disorders and Speech challenges
  • Knowledge of Dysphagia and related therapeutic interventions
  • Ability to work with children facing Communication and Language Development difficulties
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in New Jersey
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Experience with pediatric populations is preferred
