POSITION OVERVIEW:

All programs are Monday through Thursday July 6 - Aug 6, 2026.

Hours:

Wampatuck 9-11:30;
Gates/ SHS 8-1

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide nursing services to the student population on a day-to-day, as-needed basis
• Nursing needs could include absence coverage
• Provide triage, nursing assessment, and treatment of illness and injury
• Administer medications as needed
• Provide emergency care in cases of injury or sudden illness
• Communicate with parents, faculty/staff, and healthcare providers as needed. Ensure that ESY staff are aware of allergies or any serious medical conditions
• Perform such other tasks as may be assigned by the building Principal and/or the Special Education Director, including monitoring the door for student arrivals

QUALIFICATIONS-REQUIRED:

• Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts
• Current certification in CPR and First Aid
• Experience in child health, community health, or other relevant clinical nursing.
• Employment is based on the successful completion of a CORI and fingerprinting background check
• Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment.

QUALIFICATIONS-PREFERRED:

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 2 year(s) of relevant work experience

TERMS: Summer 2026, hourly rate is $52.30
