Overview
Position:
Full-Time, Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, school year with summer work available
As a Behavior Analyst at SSAC, you will be an essential team member with a robust clinical background, taking the lead in supervising a dedicated group of behavior therapists while maintaining excellent communication with clients' families and other professionals. You will manage a caseload of clients, carry out all clinical services for each individual, and continuously collaborate with fellow BCBAs and clinical directors.
Responsibilities- Conducting client assessments, writing treatment plans, and managing caseloads.
- Supervising and mentoring Behavior Therapists.
- Monitoring client data and ensuring program integrity.
- Communicating with families and providing regular progress updates.
- Facilitating transitions for clients to new teams when needed.
- Providing consultation within schools and collaborating with outside providers.
- Leading training for new therapists and offering mentorship to colleagues.
- Participating in staff meetings, clinical discussions, and professional development activities.
- Contributing to various projects that align with the organization's mission.
- Upholding client confidentiality at all times.
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- BCBA certification and Massachusetts license (LABA).
- One or more years of BCBA experience, or a newly certified BCBA.
- A minimum of three years of ABA experience, particularly with developmental disabilities.
- Experience working with children with autism aged 14 and younger, including toddlers.
- Access to two recent writing samples showcasing your clinical skills.
- Two professional references.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical capacity to occasionally lift clients or equipment (up to 40 pounds) and move quickly when following clients.
- Willingness to undergo a criminal background check.
