REPORTS TO:

Special Education Director

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The vocational coordinator will work with job sites in the community to schedule students in the I-Excel life skills/vocational special education program. The program runs Monday through Thursday 8-12:00 from July 6 - Aug 6, 2026. The coordinator needs to set up these internships prior to July 6th.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Contact potential job sites.

* Schedule students and staffing

* Coordinate transportation to job sites

* Develop time card system to track student hours

* Collaborate with the lead teacher.

QUALIFICATIONS
- REQUIRED:

* Experience as a job coach and working with students or young adults with special needs

* High School Diploma

* Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment.

QUALIFICATIONS-PREFERRED:

* Bachelor's degree

TERMS:

Part-time, Summer 2026, Hourly contractual rate
