The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in dental terminology, medical documentation, and infection control protocols, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis, utilizing medical imaging and anatomical knowledge.
- Provide a wide range of dental treatments such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics with precision and attention to detail.
- Utilize advanced dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for documentation, scheduling, and treatment planning.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control standards and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans that meet patients’ needs and expectations.
- Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post‑treatment instructions using clear medical terminology.
- Ensure accurate medical records management in compliance with HIPAA regulations and other legal requirements.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery techniques.
- Valid dental license to practice in the respective jurisdiction; experience with pediatric dentistry and oral surgery preferred.
- Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment with familiarity in dental fabrication processes.
- Proficiency in using dental management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for patient records and administrative tasks.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to oral health.
- Demonstrated expertise in infection control protocols and aseptic techniques within a clinical setting.
- Ability to perform complex procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics confidently.
