Lab technician position

• Produce, maintain, and characterize human induced‑pluripotent cells (iPSCs)
• Assist with gene editing of iPSCs (CRISPR/Cas9)
• Assist with differentiation of iPSCs into neurons
• Assist with experiments in Zebrafish
• Standard molecular biology and biochemical techniques, including DNA and RNA extraction, PCR/qPCR, Sanger sequencing, cloning, Western Blot, ELISA, immunostainings, use of confocal microscope etc.
• Help with maintenance of lab supplies and equipment when needed
• Occasionally, a few hours of weekend work might be required for cell culture experiments.

Ideally, you have a "Laborant/in" degree or a Bachelor/Master degree in biology or a related topic. We are looking for somebody with good technical expertise in molecular and cell biology techniques (at least 1‑2 years of experience) who genuinely enjoys challenging cell culture work and has an overall great sense of responsibility.

A good command of English is required (German is definitely a plus).
