- Processing, analyzing and interpreting gene expression data across various biological contexts, including ribosome profiling, single-cell CRISPR methods such asROP-seq, single-cell RNA sequencing, proteomics and time-resolved molecular recording.
- Developing new bioinformatics pipelines for gene expression analyses, particularly for our single-cell ribosome profiling strategy and in vivo molecular recording.
- Actively engaging and working closely with our multidisciplinary team of PhD students and postdocs to support them with their own analyses and perform analyses for their projects.
- Performing advanced statistical analysis, pathway & network analysis, integrating complex clinical, biological and molecular data.
- Contributing to data visualization, figure generation and interpretation for publications and grant applications.
- Maintaining meticulous documentation of analyses and workflows using repositories such as Git Hub.
- Ph.D. in bioinformatics, computational biology or a closely related field, with demonstrated computational research experience and a strong publication record.
- Proven expertise in gene expression analysis, including single-cell approaches.
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as R, Python, C/C++, or Perl.
- Experience with high-performance computing environments is an advantage.
- Excellent understanding of statistics and experience with complex biological datasets.
- Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for working in an interdisciplinary, collaborative team; willingness to be actively involved in the team's projects.
- High degree of independence, self‑motivation and commitment.
