A growing, privately held company in the food manufacturing sector is seeking a Territory Sales Executive to support continued expansion across the Midwest. This role is responsible for driving new business, managing existing accounts, and developing long-term customer relationships with food and beverage manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the sales strategy for Midwest territory
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and targeted outreach
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts
- Build relationships with customer stakeholders including R&D, Procurement, Operations, and Commercial teams
- Collaborate internally to support customer projects and ensure successful execution
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through project completion and post-sale support
- Prepare and deliver customer presentations and product demonstrations
- Track sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM
- Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity
- Represent the company at regional trade shows and industry events
- Travel up to 50% throughout the East Coast region
- 4–6+ years of B2B sales experience selling to food and/or beverage manufacturers
- Proven success managing a sales territory and developing new business
- Strong ability to build relationships across technical and commercial customer teams
- Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently in a hybrid environment
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Base salary: $75,000–$90,000 (dependent on experience)
- Performance bonus up to two months of salary
- Mileage reimbursement for business travel

- Paid time off starting at 15 days, increasing with tenure
