A growing, privately held company in the food manufacturing sector is seeking a Territory Sales Executive to support continued expansion across the Midwest. This role is responsible for driving new business, managing existing accounts, and developing long-term customer relationships with food and beverage manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for Midwest territory
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and targeted outreach
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts
  • Build relationships with customer stakeholders including R&D, Procurement, Operations, and Commercial teams
  • Collaborate internally to support customer projects and ensure successful execution
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through project completion and post-sale support
  • Prepare and deliver customer presentations and product demonstrations
  • Track sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM
  • Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity
  • Represent the company at regional trade shows and industry events
  • Travel up to 50% throughout the East Coast region
Qualifications
  • 4–6+ years of B2B sales experience selling to food and/or beverage manufacturers
  • Proven success managing a sales territory and developing new business
  • Strong ability to build relationships across technical and commercial customer teams
  • Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a hybrid environment
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Base salary: $75,000–$90,000 (dependent on experience)
  • Performance bonus up to two months of salary
  • Mileage reimbursement for business travel

  • Paid time off starting at 15 days, increasing with tenure
