Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Manager with NICU and pediatric leadership expertise and an active IL RN license for a pivotal hospital management role. Responsibilities Work in a hospital setting overseeing Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and Pediatrics departments Manage daily operations, patient care quality, staffing, hiring, scheduling, and budget for critical neonatal and pediatric care areas Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatric specialists, and interdisciplinary teams Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (5x8 hours) Floating required to other units or facilities within 50 miles as needed, possibly outside primary area of competency with team-based model Responsible for policy development, compliance, and fostering a positive environment for critically ill pediatric patients and their families Handle labor relations including collective bargaining and staff discipline Utilize CCH records systems to execute management responsibilities No block scheduling or special requests are permitted;
