Position Overview

The Travel & Expense Supervisor oversees the administration of the company’s global Travel and Entertainment programs. The Supervisor creates efficiencies in process flow, supports management with ad hoc and reporting requests, and serves as the subject‑matter expert for travel and expense policies and procedures. The role monitors and enforces compliance with internal and external regulations, develops reports to track metrics, and reports to the Senior AP Manager.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise the Travel & Entertainment (T&E) function as the primary subject‑matter expert for policies and procedures.
  • Maintain relationships with corporate card and travel‑expense program providers.
  • Liaise with Procurement to ensure contract compliance and stay within guidelines.
  • Partner with providers to troubleshoot open issues and support process improvements.
  • Conduct regular reviews of vendor performance to ensure quality standards.
  • Support audits (SOX, EY).
  • Review and approve expense reports in line with corporate policies.
Reporting & Analytics
  • Create and develop key operational/performance metrics and reports for FP&A and senior executives.
  • Lead financial oversight of T&E spending and develop strategic reports.
  • Monitor KPIs for T&E operations.
  • Build analytics for T&E spend and lead audit oversight.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for financial reporting.
  • Ensure Business Expense Policy is updated and communicated.
  • Oversee Connect Pages for compliance and information.
Training
  • Develop training programs for travel and expense processes.
  • Lead training for field employees on expense reports and T&E policies.
  • Stay current with best practices and new technology through conferences and workshops.
  • Build and update training materials and resources.
  • Communicate updates, training, and policy changes to internal customers.
Concur Lead
  • Supervise T&E Lead on responsibilities and processes.
  • Research and propose new procedures to add value to the T&E process.
  • Ensure compliance, timeliness of reporting, and audit processing.
  • Provide needed reporting to internal and external customers.
Auditing & Oversight
  • Maintain a strong internal control environment and SOX compliance.
  • Monitor out‑of‑pocket spend and enforce Corporate Credit Card policy.
  • Analyze Concur reports to monitor exceptions and infractions.
  • Manage audit requests from internal and external auditors.
  • Review expense reports and determine approvals or rejections.
People Development
  • Create a team environment focused on service levels, customer satisfaction, and productivity.
  • Model and reinforce a positive working environment aligned with company values.
  • Measure department performance with metrics and incorporate them into employee evaluations.
  • Manage performance, address concerns, maintain staffing levels, and facilitate team development.
  • Handle scheduling, team building, mentoring, disciplinary reviews, and termination processes.
Job Requirements
  • BA/BS in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience, preferred.
  • 6+ years of Accounts Payable and Concur experience.
  • Experience with Concur administration in a fast‑paced, high‑growth global environment.
  • Strong customer‑service background.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with strict deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel functions.
  • Continuous improvement attitude with a drive to implement best practices.
  • Highly motivated, self‑directed, and performance‑driven.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Work Environment

Office. Work may include irregular hours, on‑call status, weekends, holidays, and travel. Appearance guidelines must be followed in-office and at venues.

Salary Pay Range

$74,182.00 – $96,437.00
