The Glencoe Public Library is looking for its next Acquisitions & Receiving Professional. Utilize your organizational skills with a library team that values community, service, and intellectual freedom. This is a non-exempt position responsible for ordering and checking in all new library materials and maintaining acquisition files. The Acquisitions & Receiving Professional reports directly to the Head of Technical Services. Come join our library as it embarks on a renovation that will revitalize our library building and will allow us to reimage our collections, services, and programming.
The Acquisitions & Receiving Professional is a 30 hours/week position. Schedule is subject to change dependent on department and library needs. This is a benefited part-time position with a minimum-to-midpoint salary range of $29,852 - $37,315. This position also offers 18 paid vacation days, 9 paid sick days, and 2 paid personal days given at the start of each year; membership to ALA or PLA;
continuing education opportunities; a 100% employer-paid individual health plan with vision and dental insurance (or 70% employer-paid family health plan); and enrollment in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF). The job description is available .
