MSC’s Engineering Department is looking for a motivated Engineer to strengthen one of our Jack-up Technology teams. This is an opportunity to contribute directly to the safe and efficient operation of the world’s leading offshore jack-up vessels, supporting clients across the offshore energy industry.

In this role, you will apply your analytical skills and technical expertise to deliver site-specific assessments, operational engineering support, and consultancy services that help our clients maximize the performance and safety of their jack-up assets. You will also contribute to design projects for new-build jack-up vessels, collaborating closely with engineers from multiple disciplines and using advanced simulation tools and industry standards to translate complex offshore challenges into robust, practical solutions.

• Perform engineering analyses and verification related to jack-up operational support, including site‑specific assessments.
• Evaluate environmental conditions and soil data to support safe and efficient offshore operations.
• Prepare high‑quality engineering reports, technical documentation, and client deliverables.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across engineering disciplines to ensure integrated, compliant solutions.
• Take ownership of assigned scopes and contribute to continuous improvement of methods and tools.

• Review work of other engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Contribute to knowledge development within the Jack‑Up Technology team.
• Participate in design and technology improvements for new‑build jack-up units.
• Manageoperationalengineering supportprojects, such as site‑specific assessments, from quotation to execution.
• Represent Gusto
  
  MSC externally towards clients.

• MSc (preferred) or BSc in Offshore Engineering, Naval Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in offshore technology.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Analytical mindset with affinity for structural dynamics.
• Ability to work accurately, independently, and within multidisciplinary teams.
