Job Description
Basic warehousing duties, including order fulfillment and packing an assortment of products with various order types, from multiple distribution locations. Able to perform duties via manual documents or computerized devices in accordance with established operational and inventory control procedures. All associates will receive training to ensure mastery of specific skill sets with an emphasis on Safety, Accuracy, and Productivity.
Pay Class and PayClass:
Full Time
Pay: $15.00 - $15.87 per hour
- Comprehensive understanding of picking and stocking documents, labels, handheld scanners, PCs, and printing devices.
- Identify task list for picking assignment.
- Pack, store, and redistribute items orderly.
- Pick and stock merchandise from pre-defined storage bin locations.
- Meet or exceed production goals.
- Use best practices and inventory controls to prevent shrinkage.
- Assist with training new hires and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Communicate and raise issues with peers and principals.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment, workstations, and facility.
- Practice compliance with safety regulations for a safe, healthy workplace.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.
Experience & Background1-3 years of related manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to operate PCs, scanning, and printing devices.
Language SkillsRead English to interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical SkillsBasic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Reasoning AbilityThink logically following procedures and instructions; general problem solving; sound judgment; accuracy.
Physical DemandsStand, walk, reach with hands and arms, kneel, climb, sit, talk/hear most of the time.
Lifting/moving up to 50 lbs; for heavier loads use two or more people.
Noise level moderate. May work nights, weekends, holidays.
