Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an HR Coordinator to join our client to support day-to-day HR operations and ensure a smooth experience for employees onsite. In this role, you will serve as a key resource for HR inquiries, assist with onboarding activities, and help maintain reliable administrative processes for a busy manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys hands-on work, employee interaction, and contributing to a team that supports a 24/7 workforce.

The position is 100% onsite at a manufacturing facility in Selma, TX, and is offered as a temporary assignment.
Compensation:
$25-$30/hour
Work Schedule:
  • 20 hours per week
  • Mondays: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Tuesday-Friday: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • A few times per month: 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM (to connect with third shift teams)
Key Responsibilities of the HR Coordinator:
  • Provide frontline HR support to employees, addressing questions related to benefits, leave programs, onboarding, and general HR processes.
  • Coordinate routine HR administrative activities, ensuring timely documentation and smooth execution of daily tasks for a workforce of roughly 200 employees.
  • Assist with onboarding activities and new-hire processes, helping ensure an organized and welcoming experience for incoming employees.
  • Collaborate with internal HR leadership on escalated employee relations matters, ensuring issues are routed to the appropriate HRBP.
  • Support recruitment workflow tasks as needed, excluding sourcing and interview scheduling.
Qualifications and Skills for the HR Coordinator:
  • 1-3 years of HR administrative or coordinator experience; a related degree is preferred but not required for candidates with 2+ years of relevant HR experience.
  • Familiarity with HR systems or ATS platforms;
    Workday experience is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to work confidently within a manufacturing environment and communicate effectively with employees across multiple shifts.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and provide reliable follow-through.
  • A people-focused mindset with the ability to deliver helpful, timely HR support.
