The Sales Associate is a role that effectively and professionally interacts and builds relationships with customers, ensuring total satisfaction and representing the company’s “Living Brand” as an ambassador.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass all competency tests.
• Must have at least a high‑school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be able to travel daily between Family Express and other company locations when necessary.

• Meet and exceed expectations of the Family Express culture by building relationships, promoting the Living Brand, and serving as a product brand advocate.
• Complete all daily, weekly, monthly accounting, banking, and auditing functions using company‑approved procedures.
• Operate and maintain approved store equipment effectively.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and image standards through store reviews, merchandising, safety audits, and shift‑duty lists.
• Assist the store manager with recruiting quality applicants.
• Ensure store security and safety for all customers and employees; promptly report any incident.
• Assist the store manager in maximizing sales and gross profit through strategic marketing of merchandise and proper product availability and display.
• Execute merchandising plans using proper techniques to ensure products are displayed and promoted effectively in‑store.

• 2‑4 year college degree.
• Previous retail experience.

No direct reports.

• Must stand for prolonged periods, work up to 10‑hour shifts, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch; lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
• Must tolerate extreme temperatures for at eject, tolerate cleaning solvents, and work all shifts and days of the week as necessary.
