• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:30am, 30-minute unpaid break)

• Hours per Week: 36

Schedule:

Every other weekend required; no call; no self-scheduling

• Float:
Required to ED Observation Unit and units within competency

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,100 - $2,250
Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse license (NYS RN; must obtain before start)

• Minimum 1 year of recent ER nursing experience (2 years preferred)

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross; PALS required at submission)

• TNCC, ENPC, and CPI certifications preferred

• Recent Nursys verification

• Ability to float to other units within competency

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
ER RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department

• Perform drips, infusions, phlebotomy, IV starts, EKGs, patient transports, and medication administration

• Float to ED Observation Unit and other clinical units as needed

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including mental health professionals

• Care for cardiac, trauma, pediatric, and psychiatric emergency cases

• Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures
