Job Description :
Pay Range: $50.36hr - $53.36hr
- This role will serve as the primary technical interface between suppliers, engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing teams to drive quality, delivery, and continuous improvement.
- Manage supplier qualifications to ensure assigned suppliers meet engineering drawings and specification requirements.
- Own product and manufacturing process qualifications at assigned suppliers and ensure timely closure.
- Execute new supplier evaluation and onboarding, including quality and compliance audits.
- Conduct supplier surveillance audits to ensure effective process control and quality systems.
- Facilitate serial production and product release in alignment with project and customer requirements.
- Organize and perform inspections at supplier sites to ensure product quality compliance.
- Support customer witness inspections including Factory Acceptance Tests and Customer Observation Point inspections.
- Witness testing at independent third-party laboratories.
- Own Supplier Responsibility Governance metrics and conduct audits as required.
- Collect and analyze Critical to Quality data and perform process capability studies.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce recurring quality issues.
- Manage supplier non-conformance, service notices, warranty claims, recoveries, and deviation requests.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Act as the technical focal point between sourcing, design, materials, and process engineering teams.
- Ensure adherence to quality procedures and specification requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to suppliers to ensure product and process compliance.
- Support sourcing teams in developing and approving new and existing suppliers.
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in electrical and electronics engineering, quality, or manufacturing.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supplier quality or supply chain.
- Strong knowledge of PCBAs, wire harnesses, cables, control cabinets, sensors, transducers, switches, and control transformers.
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and wiring schematics.
- Experience with root cause analysis and quality problem-solving methodologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Advanced technical degree in electrical or instrumentation engineering.
- Experience in instrumentation or power generation equipment manufacturing.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or XX Belt certification.
- Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, ISO, ANSI, NEMA, and nuclear industry standards.
- ISO Lead Auditor or certified problem-solving credentials.
- Supplier quality management.
