Step inside the world of retail store design. As a Store Planning & Design Intern, you'll help support the planning and modeling of store environments using Revit, contributing to fixture layouts, equipment planning, and design documentation for active remodel and conversion projects. Working alongside experienced designers and engineers, you'll gain practical experience applying design tools and standards to real-world retail projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Contribute to:
Fixture plan support package for active projects (drafts, markups, and documentation per team standards).

* Contribute to:
Revit equipment/furniture family enhancements + cut sheet library organization for design modeling use.

* Contribute to:
Template/standards contribution (Revit or drawing standards updates + brief 'how-to' notes for reuse).

* Support as needed:
Support design team coordination needs such as drawing updates, documentation cleanup, and internal process improvements as assigned.

You will learn:

* Store planning workflow from concept through design development and construction documentation.

* Applying Revit/AutoCAD skills to real projects with cross-functional stakeholders.

* How standards, libraries, and templates improve design quality and speed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* Academic background:
Architecture, Revit, AutoCAD

* Currently enrolled in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related program.

* Working knowledge of Revit (required);
AutoCAD familiarity preferred.

* Strong organization skills and ability to follow drawing standards.

Preferred:

* Prior coursework or internship experience in retail/fixture planning or construction documentation.
