Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and highly skilled Lead Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. This role works closely with and supports the Maintenance Coordinator to ensure the property is maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to perform a wide range of maintenance tasks.

As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you will provide advanced technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing/boilers and general maintenance, all while providing outstanding service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and complete complex work orders, including advanced HVAC, electrical, and plumbing/boiler repairs.
  • Perform routine inspections of the property to identify issues and necessary repairs.
  • Execute preventative maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing/boiler, and general repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests and completed work.
  • Respond to resident requests and concerns with professionalism and urgency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of Lead Maintenance Technician experience in the multifamily industry.
  • Must participate in on-call rotation for nights/weekends.
  • Universal EPA Certification.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing/boiler, and general maintenance practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
