Role DescriptionPort One Logistics is expanding and seeking an experienced Sales representative with a strong background in freight and logistics sales.
This role is sales-driven and growth-focused. We are building from the ground up and are looking for someone who can actively generate new business, develop customer relationships, and build accounts. Port One provides full operational and carrier network support — bringing in business is the responsibility of the Account Executive.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities
- Build and grow a book of business from scratch
- Develop long-term customer relationships and expand existing accounts
- Understand customer shipping needs and propose appropriate freight solutions
- Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth execution after account onboarding
- Maintain consistent communication with customers and drive repeat business
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in freight or logistics Sales and Account Management roles
- Existing shipper relationships or book of business (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to generate new customers
- Strong understanding of transportation services such as FTL, LTL, and related freight solutions
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and results-oriented mindset
- Comfortable working in a performance-based, growth-focused environment
- Competitive commission-based compensation (uncapped)
