• Use your knowledge of Car Max inventory to assist customers in finding a vehicle that meets their needs
• Guide customers every step of the way, from sale or appraisal to test drives and arranging financing applications
• Complete all relevant records and documentation to ensure smooth transactions for our customers

Car Max pays new Sales Consultants a competitive wage while training and through the first 640 hours of selling, after which commissions become the primary base of pay.

This is a high energy sales environment where you will work as a team to meet goals. We’ll provide paid training and a personal sales mentor dedicated to your ongoing development. Auto sales experience is not necessary – bring your ability to connect with people and build relationships, and we’ll help you succeed. Opportunities exist to mentor, manage and lead as you grow with the company.

• Sales and customer service experience, in an area such as retail, is preferred
• Good listening skills and a strong customer focus
• High level of self-motivation

The hourly rate for this position is $15.01 - $20.00
. This position is eligible for commission.

Part-time employees may be eligible for sick time where required by state law. In Washington, part-time associates receive sick leave consistent with state law.
