Position: Employee Benefits Account Representative, Select

Employee Benefits Account Representative, Select

Apply for the Employee Benefits Account Representative, Select role at USI Insurance Services.

Location: Remote; candidate must reside near a USI office in Illinois, Wisconsin, or the St. Louis, MO area.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist account managers with preparation of materials for client meetings and renewals.
  • Assist with preparation of client compensation disclosures.
  • Request census data from clients; gather general client information from identified carriers.
  • Track receipt of , booklets, and contracts.
  • Request contract changes or plan amendments as needed.
  • Verify accuracy of client plan documents.
  • Provide general administrative support for the account management team.
  • Develop client/carrier contact sheets.
  • Maintain accurate client and team information in the agency management system.
  • Maintain client documents in Image Right and network drive.
  • Ensure accurate and timely response to all outstanding issues.
  • Respond to partner requests by the stated time frames.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal partners, clients, and carriers.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Minimum one-year employee benefits or insurance experience.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Must hold Life and Disability Insurance License.
  • Knowledge of Benefit Point and Image Right preferred.
  • Ability to set priorities and manage deadlines.
  • Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.
  • Detail-oriented and prioritizes accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Eager to learn new concepts and further professional development.
  • Open to feedback and coaching.
  • Ability to define problems and generate potential solutions.

Salary: $50,000–$60,000. Bonus-eligible position with a target incentive of 5%.
