At Nippon Shokken U.S.A., we’re seeking a sales-focused professional who understands flavor and the culinary world. If you have a passion for food and enjoy connecting with people, you can help us introduce premium Japanese seasonings and sauces to new customers across the U.S. This role blends culinary know-how with business acumen, offering travel, relationship-building, and growth opportunities.
Location:
Schaumburg, IL. Workdays:
Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 5:30 pm); some weekends may be necessary. We E-Verify and conduct post-offer substance screening.
- 80% travel in the area; 20% desk work. Business trips are assigned as needed
- Report to the office every morning; schedule appointments and reach out to clients
- Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing customers
- Prepare, distribute, and coordinate sales contracts and associated forms to complete orders
- Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information, including pricing and inventory
- Record sales and order information; send copies to the sales office and enter data
- Maintain accurate records in the company’s CRM system
- Review sales performance and aim to meet or exceed targets
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Preferred: sales experience in the food industry
- Able to lift over 40 lbs
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation
