Junior Sales Representative - Chemical Manufacturer

Overview

An international manufacturer of pigments and adhesives for use in a wide array of industries is looking for a motivated Junior Sales Representative to join their team in the Schaumburg, IL area. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing, sales-focused mindset and 1-3 years’ prior experience in sales, preferably in print or manufacturing industries.
This is a direct hire, full-time role with an outstanding benefits package.

$60,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

• Identify opportunities for new business development and establish relationships with potential customers
• Interface with customers and clients regarding product issues, quality assurance, questions, etc.
• Collaborate with sales teams and clients on matters of market analysis, product planning, and expected demand
• Regional travel to customer sites as needed (up to 75%)
• Create price quotations and negotiate prices and costs with customers; secure product orders and follow up on tracking and delivery
• Data entry of order and customer information
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor Degree preferred; minimum of an Associate’s degree or other combination of education and relevant experience
• Ability to travel up to 75%, regionally
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.
• This position is in an office work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 20 pounds, lift in excess of 20 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
  
  You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
