Banquet Cook

Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking a Banquet Cook to join the team!

Part‑time Banquet Cook responsible for preparing large quantities of food for events such as banquets, weddings, conferences, and other gatherings. The role involves menu planning, coordination with event organizers, and overseeing the preparation and presentation of dishes to ensure a high‑quality dining experience.

• Menu Planning:
  Collaborate with clients or event planners to create a menu that suits the occasion and meets dietary preferences or restrictions.
• Food Preparation:
  Oversee preparation of large quantities of food, often in advance, to ensure efficiency during the event.
• Kitchen Coordination:
  Manage kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of meals.
• Quality Control:
  Ensure all dishes meet taste, presentation, and food safety standards.
• Adaptability:
  Adjust recipes and portion sizes to accommodate number of guests.
• Communication:
  Coordinate with catering managers, chefs, and other staff to address issues.
• Stress Management:
  Handle pressure of preparing and serving large quantities within specified time frames.

• Salary $18–24/hr

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workday.
• Work varying days, nights, holidays, and weekends.

• Walk or stand for extended periods.
• Lift up to 15 lbs. regularly.
• Perform functions requiring organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing, and stocking up to 50 lbs.
• Communicate quickly and accurately.
• Work in environments with bright, dim or flashing lights and loud sounds.
• Manual dexterity to use and operate necessary equipment.
• Follow and maintain safety standards at all times.
