Quality Manager - PCB Manufacturing
Location:
Addison, IL (Relocation Assistance Available)
Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 annually + Benefits + Relocation

We are seeking an experienced Quality Director to lead quality assurance and control functions within our Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for a proven leader with deep expertise in electronics/PCB production and a passion for driving compliance, continuous improvement, and a culture of quality excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the Quality Management System (QMS) ensuring compliance with ISO, IPC, and customer requirements
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality strategies, policies, and procedures for PCB manufacturing
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers, inspectors, and technicians
- Collaborate across production, engineering, and supply chain to ensure product quality throughout all manufacturing stages
- Conduct audits (internal/external), manage customer quality concerns, RCA, and CAPA
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies
- Partner with suppliers to maintain incoming material quality standards
- Report on quality metrics, dashboards, and KPIs for leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 9+ years of progressive quality experience within PCB, electronics, or semiconductor industries
- 3+ years in a leadership/director role
- Strong knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes (fabrication, assembly, testing, SMT, reflow, etc.)
- Expertise with ISO 9001, IPC standards, and certifications
- Hands-on experience with FMEA, PPAP, 8D, SPC and Lean/Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt a plus)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to relocate to Addison, IL (relocation package provided)
- Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
