$100,000 – $120,000/Annually

On behalf of our client, Corporate Resources is seeking a Plant Manager to lead and manage operations in a manufacturing environment. At the start of this role the focus will be on doubling the size of our organization as we build.

As the Plant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading operations and the scale-up of production to ensure efficient material management to support our growth initiatives.

Plant Manager
  • Works closely with leadership to ensure the achievement of production output, quality, and cost targets, as well as planning and accuracy while maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Drives continuous improvements in key areas, such as Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost, and customer service, while developing direct reports. Improving the capabilities of all plant personnel.
  • Provide inspired leadership for the organization.
  • Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
  • Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Work with the Production Manager to determine values/mission and plan for short- and long-term goals.
  • Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
  • Analyze process workflow, and employee performance, and implement positive changes.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
  • Accomplish operations and organization mission by achieving related results as needed.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of all aspects of the scale-up, including the expansion of facilities, acquisition of equipment, and implementation of training programs.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, identifying critical milestones and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines, facilitating effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

    Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure efficient flow of materials and support production schedules.
  • Develop maintenance plans and schedules to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment and facilities, coordinating maintenance activities with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of direct leadership experience
  • 5+ years in manufacturing or production environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related field is preferred
  • Proven experience in Lean manufacturing, and process integration
  • Strong project management and leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional projects
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
