Salary Range: $19.00 To $23.00 Hourly

ABXInnovative Packaging Solutions is a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging providing critical applications in healthcare, personal care, and food products. Our growing company is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk in our Schaumburg, IL location. This is a 1 st shift schedule, Monday-Thursday, 4AM-2PM, occasional Fridays as needed.

• Load / unload trucks with outgoing products and incoming materials using forklift and/or pallet jack
• Inspect materials and ensure bills of lading are correct
• Verify the quantity of material received
• Place incoming materials into storage
• Pull materials from storage and deliver to production as needed.
• Perform physical count of inventory and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports
• Contact common carriers and schedule pick-ups, ensuring customer delivery requirements are met
• Process various inventory related reports as requested
• Pick orders from stock or from staging area
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork
• Monitor supply inventory and re-order packaging
• Other duties as assigned

• 2-3 years previous shipping/receiving/warehouse experience
• Forklift experience strongly preferred
• Requires mathematical skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide and perform metric conversions
• Capable of and committed to follow the plant and departmental safety procedures, food safety guidelines and company procedures.
• Requires good oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with co-workers and vendors
• Requires a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Previous experience working in an ERP System a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work overtime (as needed)
