We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for preparing documentation and performing all clerical functions to meet or exceed customer delivery expectations. This role plays a key part in checking to ensure orders are correctly completed and supporting daily warehouse operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately identify, handle and prepare production orders for shipment.
- Understand HYDAC Quality Policy and Quality Objectives as related to this position.
- Post goods, issue deliveries, print packing lists, create bill of ladings and other paperwork associated with shipments according to company standards.
- Verify shipping documents, labels, and order accuracy according to instructions/requirements
- Maintain shipping logs and update tracking information in the system
- Process shipments using UPS, DHL, AIT, FEDEX and LTL, Hazmat, Hot shots, etc shipments.
- Respond to emails in a timely manner.
- Clear communication skills written and verbal with internal and external departments, customers, services, Etc.
- Create and maintain (update) any new or existing work in a timely manner.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
- Operate mobile equipment including fork lift and pallet jack.
- Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization as needed.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
- Time management and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Clear communication skills.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to use a variety of material handling equipment.
- Ability to understand and operate PC equipment running under Microsoft Windows Format and ERP system – SAP a must.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience required
- HAZ-Mat Training
- Fork Lift Certification
- Familiarity with shipping software and barcode scanners is a plus
- Must adhere to all safety rules in force for the location you are in while performing your job responsibilities. This includes at a customer or supplier location.
- Must meet requirements for PPE in specific manufacturing areas when you are in those areas including safety shoes and safety glasses.
- 1st Shift hours are 7 AM to 3 PM
- Hourly rate for this position is $24 - $30/hour depending upon experience
