Plastic Process Technician

A recognized industry leader of injection molded products with a manufacturing history that spans over a 60 years is looking for Process Technician for 2nd shift. This company prides itself on providing it’s employees with a strong work, life balance. They are a vertically integrated plastics manufacturing that provides its customers with a seamless manufacturing process for their products.

Responsibilities

• Perform all mold service activities including lockout, dissemble, clean and assembly molds, perform connections, use mold set-up sheets
• Train and assist in mold set-ups.
• Adjust systems, switches, safety and pressures; properly connect power, knockout and core sequence.
• Perform Total Productive Maintenance tasks and Lockout/tag out process on injection molding machinery
• Perform 6s duties assigned or as needed
• Perform start-ups, set-ups and shutdowns
• Communicate well with associates, coordinators, suppliers and customers

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED
• Plastic Injection molding background
• Strong problem solving skills
• Previous experience in a plastics manufacturing environment strongly preferred
